When Tash first came to Painted Brain, she was simply searching for a safe space.

Growing up, her mental health was often pushed aside and neglected, and she never had the freedom to explore herself or her creativity. As an adult, she’s begun taking ownership of her well-being, focusing on what truly matters to her and what brings her joy.

At Painted Brain, she found a community where she could be herself and continue discovering who she is.

“Being around people who enjoy the same things I do makes me happy,” Tash said.

Creativity had always been part of her, but it wasn’t until adulthood that she felt able to fully embrace it. First, she had to create that space within herself, learning to accept that it’s okay to fall, fail, or make mistakes.

“If you’re trying, you’re already doing everything you can.”

Tash is wearing the Active Minds Rugby Polo Shirt, Pre-sale available now.
